The young women spend alternate Shabbatot in the Beit Midrash. Tefillot, singing, and Shabbat meals are a central part of the program. A minyan for Selichot, Yom Kippur davening, dancing on Simchat Torah, all-night learning on Hoshana Rabbah and Shavuot, Hanuka and Purim celebrations, volunteer work on Rosh Chodesh, combine to make a lasting impression on the students. Students are encouraged to devote time to the wider needs of the community and to integrate themselves into the community, in preparation for assuming leadership positions, each according to her talents.
