Facilities

The campus is located in Kibbutz Migdal Oz, in Gush Etzion. The Kibbutz has a small grocery store, and a medical clinic. It is a 10-minute walk to Efrat, where there are stores, restaurants, clinics, and frequent, convenient, and safe public transportation to Jerusalem.

The students live in a new modern air-conditioned dormitory. Each dormitory unit is designed for four girls, with a small kitchenette, a bedroom, and a full bathroom. We recommend that overseas students dorm with only Israeli roommates, of whom at least one is an English-speaker. The dining room is located within the Beit Midrash building and serves three cooked meals every day. The main building also contains a library, a computer room, a new gym and a music room that serves as a lounge for the girls in their free time.

 

The security of our students is our greatest priority and responsibility, and much effort and thought is put into maximizing the protection systems of the campus. Kibbutz Migdal Oz is surrounded by an electronic security fence and is patrolled 24\7 by the army. An additional fence was erected around the entire campus of the Beit Midrash for added protection and there are trained guards on duty 24 hours a day. Students are expected to conduct themselves according to their parents’ instructions regarding off-campus travel.
